Uranus midlife crisis

I have a question on something I've been working on mentally.
I'm still working through the course and doing a lot of observing and correlating on the side.
I think the teachings of JWG are multilayered like the ancient way of teaching.
Could one of the layers of Uranus liberating from Saturn be that Saturn Capricorn 10h is about self mastery. But who is the self in this regard? As far as I have seen and read it's your societal identity. Built up over time through parents friends colleagues teachers countries etc the identity you have built based on the world you think you live in.
So especially at that uranus opposition moment , which lately I have been seeing a lot of and I'm nearing myself.. I see people freaking out over the world they have built (usually without realizing they have built it) through their Saturnian identity .
They often rebuild according to some other compass.. but what is this other compass? Is it the souls individuality (Uranus)? Can we look to Uranus Aquarius 11H to see how the soul will rebuild? Or will it be the soul itself Pluto 8h Scorpio

This also makes sense for Leo which to me is a personality that is created from the heart, it's in alignment with ego (this is obviously in its higher pure octave). It's what emits into the world from ego(cancer 4H moon).. which is in trine the Pisces (god consciousness) and Scorpio (soul). Leo being inconjunct to Capricorn, the identity we build based on what we think we should be in society (one layer/interpretation of it).. inconjunct to the personality that shines from ego
If it's in its true octave, why would Leo be square Scorpio and inconjunct Pisces? Maybe it's what we are meant to (purpose) do in this life to get us to our lessons but it itself is not the soul nor God consciousness.. it's just our highest human form? So it's more of an aim than a final destination. But ego (4h cancer moon) also seems like a human identity to me. It's the identity the soul chose to incarnate in this life which is human no?

I know I'm still missing things here, I can feel it. My perception or choice of words could be off so I'm trying to find the nuance.

I can see a pressure building between identities of the water trinity and some of the fire earth signs.. a pressure that drives further into why we are really here

I want to know if I'm on the right path or if there's something im not seeing

Hi Dominika,

From my understanding, the Uranus opposition which occurs at about 41-43 years of age is typically experienced as a mid life crisis. In a general sense, the transit reflects the need to "throw off" (opposition) dynamics that have become crystalized, outdated, and are creating stagnation. In essence, it is to objectify (Uranus) one's own conditioning patterns(Saturn) in order to liberate and reconfigure those patterns/structure- to reinvent oneself.

Most often, at mid life, the Soul tires of a certain lifestyle, conditions, etc and desires to change or alter those conditions. The temptation of this transits most often is to escape or avoid ones responsibilities (Saturn) because of feeling limited or trapped. The underlying need is to objectify why we have structured or built our lives in a specific way so that we can then accept the responsibility for our life conditions, and then "throw off" outdated conditioning patterns. These are the general intentions of the Uranus opposition, and of course must be interpreted in the context of the natal chart as a whole. Let me know if this makes sense.

It feels like we're saying the same things? Or at least mine fits into your much better worded formula:)

If it's Uranus we are dealing with isn't there some uranian Aquarian 11H energy that could be tuned into here?
Isn't Uranus the individuality of the soul? That's how I understood it in the Uranus book.
Isn't that what Uranus is asking us to tap into? Or is it purely just to see things objectively so we can see what no longer serves us?
If we were to look at our own natal uranus energy, is there something we should be looking for? Maybe I can expand my perception

Yes, Uranus/Aquarius/11th house archetype correlates with our individuality-unconditioned by anything. We all have a unique nature or essence that is specific to just ourselves which is symbolized by this archetype.

Hi Dominika,

I just wanted to add my insight into what I feel the Uranus opposition is pointing us all towards. Of course, like Deva has outlined, we have to do the observation and correlation of the natal chart as a whole to understand the soul dynamics of its own Uranus opposition, but I like to use the term "mid-life awakening" when it comes to the Uranus opposition transit.

Uranus transits are all about 'freedom from the known', so we are being compelled towards releasing ourselves from patterns of comfortability that just don't serve our soul journey. Easier said than done but if one has the conscious awareness that this time period WILL bring up patterns that need to be liberated from, will always help.

Saturn can also represents the reflection piece in this transit, which is all about leading us to a deeper awareness of what needs to be physically or structurally changed in our lives for our evolution to continue.

One of my favourite JWG teachings about Uranus is; "Uranus is forever trying to knock on Saturn's door." And I see the Uranus opposition as a time frame of Uranus not just knocking on the door but breaking that door down!
